I am a New York and California licensed acupuncturist and herbalist based in Los Angeles.

I arrived within the extensive spectrum of holistic medicine through a series of synchronicities. I have always felt a deep intrinsic yearning to live holistically and realized early that this was a gift, one I had to share. As a child I loved exploring movement through dance or yoga and often devoured books about yoga. I asked to be fed trees (my childhood nickname for broccoli) and learned how to cook at a very young age. I appreciated food and the cathartic art of cooking.

As a teenager, I studied mindfulness and massage and these passions continue to manifest all through my adult life. I realized my basic education in anatomy and physiology needed deeper insight and curiosity led me to study more formally. As I continued to dive deeper, my questions exposed various paradigms of health that opened my mind exponentially and my studies intensified. I was greatly motivated by the health care system that left me feeling frustrated, fearful, shamed, disconnected from my body, mind, and well being. I wanted more for my own experience and I wished to be a channel of possibility and potential. This became a desire that I will always hold; my modus operandi.

Things transcended when acupuncture came into my life. My path illuminated and an enchanting love affair began that has now continued for over a decade! The offerings of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine guided my own health, and I began to become witness to the power of this medicine. Becoming an acupuncturist was a laborious and arduous process that I embraced head on as I knew that studying this particular medicine would allow me to synergistically incorporate all methods and modalities I had nurtured all my life. It would allow me to help people individually,  communally and contribute to significant change. The messages throughout my life continued to confirm that this was my calling.

In Spring of 2014, I received my Masters in Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California after year round studies for 4 1⁄2 years. It included over 4000 hours of didactic and clinical training in acupuncture, clinical herbalism, bodywork, as well as tenets of Western Bio Medicine. I have also completed a clinical acupuncture certificate through Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in Hangzhou, China. In addition to that I  have completed extensive continuing education trainings in various subjects including facial/cosmetic acupuncture, aromatherapy, and Esoteric Acupuncture. I received my Reiki 1 and 2 attunements, and have also completed numerous advanced yoga studies and teacher trainings. I am ecstatically grateful that my efforts and skills can offer such magnificent and immeasurable contributions to this world.

It is even more fulfilling than I could have ever imagined. I stand here decades later continuing the progression as the learning never stops and I am just getting started! Together with my professional practice, my life is filled with nature, art, music, film, movement, travel, saunas, hot springs, philosophy, esoterica, and time with my community and loved ones (including of course, my cats!)
